Dust Collector Safely Removes Toxic and Combustible Dusts From Your Factory or Shop
The Gold Series X-Flo (GSX) industrial dust collector is the industry’s best-in-class industrial dust collection/fume collection system. It’s built on 20 years of successful performance of our award-winning Gold Series system. It handles all kinds of toxic and combustible dusts, smoke and fumes, including fine, fibrous and heavy dust loads. GSX industrial dust collectors effectively process dust while maintaining a low pressure drop. You get the maximum airflow and dust processing power for any given footprint. More than 1,300 GSX collectors have already been installed around the world, reducing compressed air consumption up to 70%.
GSX industrial dust collector uses crossflow technology and a unique baffle configuration to create a uniform airflow that extends the life of your filters. Filter cartridges last longer and require fewer changeouts, reducing the total cost of ownership. Our collector exceeds OSHA mandates for factory air quality, and when equipped with a Camfil explosion vent, GSX dust collectors offer the highest combustible dust explosion protection in accordance with NFPA and ATEX standards.
GOLD SERIES X-FLO DUST COLLECTOR KEY FEATURES
MODULAR DESIGN
It’s easy to customize the GSX industrial dust collector for your specific work environment. Individual modules contain four filters and accommodate airflows up to 6,000 CFM each, providing a near-limitless variety of configurations and airflow capabilities. You get fast delivery of a system that is just right for your application and space. It's ideal for collecting dust from the manufacturing and processing of dry bulk powder.
MORE FILTER MEDIA, SAME FOOTPRINT
We designed the inlet, filter cartridges and filter position so each housing module can accommodate larger cartridges without increasing the overall footprint. Each module holds four filter cartridges of HemiPleat® filter media and maintains a low pressure drop.
GOLD CONE™ X-FLO FILTERS
X-Flo filter cartridges feature proprietary HemiPleat Gold Cone™ filters that stay cleaner and last longer than conventional pleated filters. Gold Cone X-Flo Dust Collector filter cartridges use our proprietary Gold Cone inner pleat pack. This open-bottomed, inner cone of media greatly expands the usable surface area of the cartridge. HemiPleat technology is our unique approach to creating highly efficient pleated filter media that exposes more media to the airstream, so more dust is loaded on the filter and then released when pulse-cleaned.

Frequently Asked Questions about Dust and Dust Safety
Dust is everywhere. It is found in our homes, workplaces, and nature. On the surface, dust may seem like just a nuisance but many don’t realize that it can also be dangerous. As a leading manufacturer of industrial dust collection solutions, we know a thing or two about dust and the hazards it can pose. To help you better understand dust and the effects it can have on your home, your work, and your health, here are a few answers to the questions that we are asked most frequently.
-
HOW INDUSTRIAL DUST COLLECTORS WORK
At the core, dust collection systems are designed to purify air or gas by removing contaminants, dust or other particles that can collect in air.
Many dust collectors filter contaminated or dirty air inside of the dust collector upon which a blowing system creates airflow through the duct and then to a cleaning system for filters to process the dust or contaminants for waste or reclaiming. Our GSX dust collection system is unique in that crossflow technology and a baffle system can make the airflow be uniform which processes dust while keeping a low pressure drop. This extends the life of the filters, maximum dust processing and also best airflow.

5 KEY QUESTIONS FOR SELECTING AN INDUSTRIAL DUST COLLECTION SYSTEM SUPPLIER
Workplace and employee safety risks from dust hazards are a reality in any industrial manufacturing facility. Operations that produce a considerable amount of dust or fumes as a byproduct of their processes must have an industrial dust collection system to combat these threats. But to find the right dust collection system, facilities need to have an experienced dust collector supplier supporting them.

WHY CHOOSE OUR INDUSTRIAL DUST COLLECTOR?
Provide a cleaner and safer work environment by trying our Gold Series X-Flo (GSX) industrial dust collector. As one the most advanced dust collectors in the industry, Camfil has proudly provided dust collectors and filters that create clean environments, manufacturing efficiencies and healthy air for our partners.
Is it right for you? Our GSX industrial dust collector can be used for a variety of applications.
Dust collection from these sources can require a powerful dust collection system:
- Metal Work (abrasive blasting, laser & plasma cutting, thermal spray)
- Pharmaceutical (tablet coating, tablet pressing)
- Food & Beverage (seed processing, cereals, spices, grains, flours, starches)
- Mining (plastics, paper, fiberglass, other composites)

How Modular Dust Collectors Solve Floor Space Challenges
Manufacturers and processing facilities that produce large amounts of dust and fumes rely on cartridge-style industrial dust collectors to keep their workers safe and maintain compliance. Although these facilities have to meet the same environmental health and safety requirements for dust control, each building’s unique design/layout/blueprint may force specific requirements and configurations for the collector.
Industrial dust collectors can also be built from smaller square modules that are bolted together. These modules offer more flexibility because they can be combined into dozens of different configurations to fit the specific work environment and required air volume.

10 Tips for Safe Operation of Your Dust Collector
Dust control is one of the most difficult challenges in industrial manufacturing and processing. Operators are challenged to meet both occupational health and environmental regulations. When properly maintained, your industrial dust collector can keep workers safe and protect the environment. However, dust collectors require constant maintenance and one that is not properly maintained can cause an explosion or fire. Read about the ten important tips for operations and engineering personnel responsible for dust collector safety.
