WE ADDRESS EACH CUSTOMER’S UNIQUE CHALLENGES

We provide the ideal solution to control dangerous dusts, provide clean air, maintain a safe work environment, maximize production uptime and meet regulatory compliance.

Gold Series® industrial dust collectors are the industry’s best-in-class dust collection systems. They effectively process dust while maintaining a low pressure drop. And most importantly, they exceed OSHA mandates for factory air quality.

Independent lab tests demonstrate that Camfil filter cartridges capture more air pollutants and release more of those pollutants when pulsed, creating a safer, cleaner work environment with less maintenance. Whether used in Camfil or other brand dust collectors, our filters maintain a steady pressure drop that lasts through the lifetime of the filter. Pleats made with HemiPleat technology are uniform across the entire media and are held open instead of pressed together. Opening the pleats makes the entire media area usable.

Gold Cone™ filter cartridges contain 350 square feet of media, offering the industry’s highest air-to-cloth ratio. The innovative design provides a low pressure drop, which means fewer filters are required for a given application. When used in a Gold Series dust collector, these filters provide the most powerful and cost-efficient dust collection system on the market. The system maximizes airflow while minimizing filter change-outs, compressed air usage and energy costs.

Camfil APC stays on top of the latest regulations and standards on indoor air quality and worker safety from OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and explosion protection from NFPA (National Fire Protection Association). Customers receive complete technical and engineering support from our industry experienced sales reps. And all of our distributors are trained in OSHA and NFPA compliance. Our dust collectors are available with many explosion protection options including explosion vents, isolation valves, integrated safety monitoring filters and fire-retardant filter cartridges.

Camfil APC has a state-of-the-art dust collection test facility that can perform full-scale tests of your dust. By properly identifying dust characteristics, we can determine the right type of collector and filtration media for your application and determine the size equipment you need for optimal energy savings and operational efficiency. With the right equipment, you can minimize maintenance and reduce emissions while extending filter life.

Industry experts estimate that 80% of all dust collectors do not operate satisfactorily. It’s a complex task to design and select dust collection equipment. It requires a comprehensive analysis of the dust or other airborne contaminant, system operating conditions, and many other factors.

Camfil uses Standard 199 testing to compare dust collectors. This testing is based on true operating conditions and real world performance data on emissions, pressure drop, compressed air usage, energy consumption and emission readings. Armed with this comparative data on operation, energy costs and particle emissions, you can make more informed long-term decisions to reduce maintenance, consumables and disposal costs.

Dust issues are complex, and dust collectors are generally not plug and play devices. The size and configuration, cartridge size and type, ducting and explosion protection equipment need to be specified for each unique application. Choosing the best system involves research and attention to detail. Our exerts can help you determine the best system, type of ducting, and filtration media. We can also help you determine where to place the collector and whether air can be safely recirculated downstream to save on heating and cooling costs.
