In our quest to discover why companies are choosing to Join the Switch to Camfil, one manufacturer expressed the importance of customer service and a customized approach in configurating its total dust collection systems. The customer explained their selection of Camfil was plain and simple:

  • “When I called, you picked up.”
  • “When I emailed, you replied.”
  • “When I asked you to visit our facility, you showed up.”

The customer was impressed Camfil kept showing up from design to delivery of a dust collection system and across the product life cycle.

This customer experience illustrates Camfil’s dedication to clean indoor air quality. We continually ensure our customers use and maintain their dust collectors effectively to get the most out of their investment.

Getting to Know the Customer’s Unique Needs

The video explains how Camfil worked closely with the manufacturer to configure a dust collection system customized to their specific needs. Customization is necessary because every manufacturer has unique processes that generate different types of dust.

Regional manager Taylor Morgan visited the client site to take measurements and evaluate existing HVAC systems and air quality issues.

Camfil configured a dust collection system taking into consideration the layout, square footage, air flow, compliance requirements and other important parameters. The system was equipped with the appropriate filters, ducting and explosion protection equipment to provide a clean and safer working environment for employees.

In addition to safeguarding worker health and safety, a dust-free working environment ensures the safety and quality control of equipment, manufacturing processes and products. Camfil will only specify equipment meeting compliance regulations for indoor air quality.

Superior In-House Capabilities

In addition to our dedicated and knowledgeable staff, Camfil distinguishes itself in the industry with its in-house manufacturing, dust testing and research capabilities. Our dust collectors are fabricated in a state-of-the-art facility with advanced equipment and floor design, enabling us to meet customer demands faster.  The plant also includes filter assembly lines where we produce our Gold Cone™ filter cartridges and replacement filters for other brands of dust collectors that feature our proprietary HemiPleat® filter media.

Our dust testing lab analyzes the properties of dust samples sent by customers to determine the correct filtration media, housing ductwork system and dust discharge configuration. Knowing every manufacturing process has its unique dust types for filtration, we don’t provide off-the-shelf systems or one-size-fits-all solutions.

In-house R&D enables us to remain leaders in dust, fume and mist collection equipment and filters. We take pride in creating innovative products using cutting-edge research and industry-leading technology.
