The power of OptiCone™ filters
OptiCone™ dust collector filter cartridges feature Camfil's patent-pending OmniPleat® technology that enables them to stay cleaner and last longer than conventional pleated filters. They have a optimized cone figuration to maximize filtration power. Each filter contains 325 square feet of media pleated in packs held open with synthetic beads on both sides to keep the pleats evenly spaced. A black static dissipative cone sits atop an oversized inner pleat pack to improve dust loading and deliver more effective pulse-cleaning from top to bottom.
When used in Gold Series III, Gold Series Camtain or Gold Series high vacuum dust collectors, OptiCone filters provide a powerful and cost-efficient dust collection system. The system maximizes airflow and efficiency while maintaining a low pressure drop. Lower pressure drop requires less frequent pulse cleaning which means less wear on the filters, less energy consumption and fewer filter changeouts.

Key features of OptiCone filters
Synthetic, custom-shaped glue beads are applied to both sides of the pleat pack to hold the pleats open and evenly spaced. This exposes more media to the airstream so that more dust is loaded on the filter and ejected out of the collector with pulse cleaning, maintaining a low pressure drop.
The inner pleat pack is an open-bottomed cone of media, greatly expanding the usable surface area of the cartridge. The cone is configured so pulsed air is evenly distributed top to bottom along the outer pack of the filter and down through the inner pack.
With their vertical orientation and downward-facing cone media, OptiCone filters eject the maximum amount of dust into the hopper rather than onto the cartridges below, as occurs with horizontally installed filters.

OmniPleat is Camfil's unique method for producing high-performance filter cartridges. Synthetic, custom-shaped glue beads are applied to both sides of the media pack to hold the pleats open and evenly spaced. This design helps ensure 100% media utilization. Filters made with OmniPleat media packs deliver a lower pressure drop and release more dust during pulse cleaning, reducing the energy demand on the fan motor and air consumption costs related to pulse cleaning. Camfil guarantees that filters manufactured with OmniPleat technology will last 30% longer than standard filters.

FR — Flame Retardant
MERV 10 base media with flame retardant resin applied for fire resistance. Our own blend of fibers, chemically treated with a fire retardant.

FC – FR Carbon Impregnated
Cellulose media with fire retardant resin and carbon impregnation for static dissipation - our own blend of fibers, impregnated with carbon for static dissipation and chemically treated with a fire retardant MERV 10 filtration.

XG — eXtreme Green
Standard green with nano membrane applied for improved efficiency and dust release. MERV 15.

XFC — eXtreme Fire Retardant Carbon Impregnated
Cellulose media with fire retardant resin and carbon impregnation for static dissipation nano membrane applied for improved efficiency and dust release. MERV 15.
